POSCO and Hyundai Construction have won the remodeling contract for the "Hyundai Seongwoo 8th Complex" in Yongin Suji, valued at 340 billion KRW.
POSCO Engineering & Construction, in collaboration with Hyundai Construction, has secured the remodeling project for the "Hyundai Seongwoo 8th Complex" in Yongin, valued at 340 billion KRW.
On the 19th, POSCO Engineering & Construction was selected as the contractor for the project at the general assembly for the "Hyundai Seongwoo 8th Complex Apartment Remodeling" in Yongin, where 660 out of 672 attending members voted in favor. POSCO formed a consortium with Hyundai Construction, which is entering the remodeling market for the first time, to win the bid.
Located in Pungdeokcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin, Hyundai Seongwoo 8th Complex was built in 1999 and is 21 years old. POSCO Engineering & Construction plans to increase the number of units from 1,239 to 1,423 through horizontal and detached expansions. The additional 184 units will be offered for general sale. The project is expected to be completed in early 2027.
POSCO will incorporate various specialized designs for the Hyundai Seongwoo 8th Complex, including a sky community, panoramic elevators, and resting areas with views of Cheongpyeongcheon. The above-ground parking area will be transformed into a park with a themed garden and a 1km walking path, while the parking will be constructed in three underground levels.
