The remodeling project of Jayang Woosung 1st Apartment in Gwangjin, named "The Sharp Elitia," is underway.
Reading construction economics in a wonderful world: The project involves horizontal and separate building extensions, transforming the existing 656 units into 754 units, with a construction cost of 2.1 billion won.
POSCO Construction has won the remodeling project for the Jayang Woosung 1st Apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Located at 569, Ttukseom-ro, Gwangjin-gu, the Jayang Woosung 1st Apartment was built in 1988 and is now entering its 33rd year. Through horizontal and separate building extensions, the complex will transform from 656 units to 754 units. The development will be named "The Sharp Elitia," and 98 of the newly built units will be sold through general sale. The expected move-in date is mid-2027.

POSCO Construction will apply specialized designs to the Jayang Woosung 1st Apartment, including a lighting curtain wall look and a large-scale community area of 750 pyeong focused on health and education. Notably, the parking space, which was previously only about 0.3 spaces per household, will be expanded from the existing basement level 1 to basement level 5, allowing for 1.35 parking spaces per household. The above-ground parking lot will be transformed into a park with specialized landscaping, creating a walking path of approximately 1.1 km and a central plaza of around 820 pyeong, providing residents with comfort and convenience.
A POSCO Construction representative stated, "We are grateful to the members of the association for their support as our efforts to ensure smooth business progress from the start have borne fruit. We will repay them by making this the new landmark of Gwangjin, following the success of The Sharp Star City."
Meanwhile, POSCO Construction, with the most remodeling projects in the country, has now secured 15 projects totaling 2.6 trillion KRW in the remodeling sector alone. Additionally, POSCO Construction recently won the 900 billion KRW redevelopment project of the Busan Daeyeon 8 District. Following 2.7 trillion KRW in projects last year, POSCO Construction has secured 2 trillion KRW in urban development projects for two consecutive years.
