Differentiation in exterior, landscaping, and community spaces

Reborn as a 365-unit apartment complex with a maximum height of 18 floors

POSCO Construction has secured the remodeling construction rights for Jamsil Hyundai Apartments in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

On the 10th, the Jamsil Hyundai Apartment Remodeling Association held a general meeting to select a contractor, and POSCO Construction was chosen as the contractor.

POSCO Construction gained support from the members by proposing a landmark exterior design and specialized plans. For the exterior, the design emphasizes luxury with a majestic facade and the introduction of the grand "Stella Gate" entrance. Landscaping will also be developed with a variety of thematic spaces such as Nature Arcade, Gallery Café, Maple Garden, and Pine Grove, allowing residents to enjoy breathtaking views in all four seasons. This plan aims to provide a comfortable natural environment for the residents.

The community facilities will also be expanded by 8.3 times compared to the previous layout. New additions will include a sky lounge, duplex café lounge, sky meeting room, a library and book café, study rooms, shared offices, fitness clubs, golf clubs, GX rooms, shower rooms, guest houses, moms' cafés, daycare centers, and silver lounges. Various advanced systems will be introduced to enhance convenience. For example, the home networking system will allow each household to control lighting, heating, and standby power while checking their information.

Parking spaces will also be increased, expanding by approximately 3.4 times. The number of parking spaces will increase from 153 to 525, accommodating an additional 372 vehicles.

According to the business plan, Jamsil Hyundai Apartment is located at 331 Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, with a land area of 13,238.6 m². The remodeling project, applying a floor area ratio of 367.24% and a building coverage ratio of 33.08%, will result in 365 apartments and auxiliary facilities, with the building rising from 5 underground floors to 18 above-ground floors.

This area boasts excellent conditions for transportation and education. It is conveniently located near Samjeon Station on Line 9, providing easy access to public transportation. Nearby schools, such as Jamsil Elementary, Samjeon Elementary, and Youngdong High School, ensure a high-quality academic environment. The area is also well-served by facilities such as Lotte Department Store, Signiel Seoul, large supermarkets, banks, and the Songpa District Office. Moreover, the presence of the Tancheon Stream, Seokchon Lake, and the Songpa Dullegil Tancheon Trail offers a wealth of green spaces, enhancing the eco-friendly living experience.

Meanwhile, POSCO Construction has secured over 1.5 trillion won in remodeling contracts this year, including projects like Yongin Seongbok Station Riverpark, Pyeongchon Hangaram Shilla, Suwon Byeokjeokgol Jugong 9th Complex, and Ilsan Munchon 16th Complex. This month, POSCO Construction is expected to secure the remodeling contract for Seongwon Towol Grand Town in Changwon, forming a consortium with Hyundai Construction, Hyundai Engineering, and Kolon Global. The contractor selection meeting is scheduled for the 15th of this month.
