Apartment Large Company Excellence Award
Hanwha Construction Division's 'Forena Luwon City' won the Excellence Award in the Apartment Large Company category at the 27th Maeil Economic Newspaper's "Good Apartment Selection" competition. Forena Luwon City received high praise in various areas, including landscaping and unit layouts, which led to its selection for the award.
Forena Luwon City is located in the core area of Luwon City in Gajeong-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. The complex consists of 14 buildings, ranging from 4 underground floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,128 units. The units have a floor area of 59-84㎡. Luwon City is a mixed-use development project located in an area of 930,000㎡ around Gajeong-yeok, Seo-gu, Incheon, with 9,521 units, home to approximately 23,993 people.
Forena Luwon City is strategically located in the heart of Luwon City. Directly in front of the complex, the Incheon 2nd City Hall is planned to be built, which will directly benefit the complex with administrative district premiums.
The complex is well-connected by public transportation. Within a 5-minute walk, Gajeong Station on Incheon's Subway Line 2 is accessible, and the upcoming Luwon City Station (tentative name) on the extended Seoul Subway Line 7, expected to open in 2027, will further enhance the convenience of transportation.
The education environment is also favorable. Bongsoo Elementary School is right in front of the complex, and nearby are Gahyeon Elementary, Gahyeon Middle, and Shinhyun High Schools, all within walking distance.
Convenient living infrastructure is also available. The southern side of the complex is located next to the Luwon City central commercial district, and it is adjacent to the Cheongna, Gajeong, and Geomdan New Cities, allowing for shared infrastructure benefits. The natural environment is also readily accessible, with Cheonma Mountain, Kkureogi Experience Learning Center, and Seunghaksan Mountain Trails nearby, providing abundant green spaces.
Forena Luwon City holds significant meaning as it is the first project to introduce Hanwha Construction Division's newly launched brand, Forena, in Incheon. The complex received high praise for creating various community spaces that offer convenience for residents. Within the complex, there is a pet playground called 'Forena Pet Play Court,' and a playground utilizing terrain changes called 'Forena Ulriburi.' The community facilities include a fitness center, indoor golf range, small library, individual reading rooms, mom & kids cafes, and a daycare center.
The complex is designed with a south-facing orientation and a 3-4 bay flat layout (for some units) to ensure excellent lighting and ventilation. It also features versatile storage spaces such as entryway storage, large walk-in closets, and entryway pantries. Some units include a 'D' shaped kitchen designed with the housewife's flow in mind, adding to both comfort and luxury. Additionally, hybrid cooktops are installed in all units' kitchens, and hotel-style counter sinks are installed in the master bathrooms of the 76-84㎡ units, enhancing the product's appeal.
The design also takes health and safety into consideration. Engineered stones and artificial marble that meet radon concentration standards were selected, and extra sprinklers have been installed to quickly suppress any outdoor unit overheating or balcony fires.
