SK Ecoplant Wins the Daejeon Doma Byeondong 6-1 District Redevelopment Project
SK Ecoplant announced on the 4th that it had secured the redevelopment and maintenance project for the Daejeon Doma Byeondong 6-1 District.
This project involves the construction of a new apartment complex with 8 buildings, ranging from 3 underground floors to 35 above-ground floors, and a total of 1,090 units, along with supporting welfare facilities. The project will be located in the area of 96-26, Doma-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon.
SK Ecoplant won the bid in a consortium with Hoban Construction, with a total contract amount of approximately 397.7 billion won. SK Ecoplant's share in the project is 55%, which amounts to around 218.7 billion won.
The project site is located within the "Doma-Byeondong Regeneration Promotion District," where a large-scale redevelopment project is underway to build a total of 22,000 units.
The site is conveniently located within about 3 km of Daejeon Metro Line 1's Yongmun Station and KTX's Seo-Daejeon Station, making it easy to access both within and outside the city. Nearby educational facilities include Yucheon Elementary, Beodne Middle, Doma Middle, and Daejeon Jeil High School. Additionally, Yudeungcheon Stream and Yudeung Sports Park are within walking distance, according to the company.
Including this project, SK Ecoplant has achieved a total of 1.1185 trillion won in orders for urban regeneration projects this year.
