‘Namyangju Wangsuk A-27BL’ Secured by Daebo Construction… 


Namgwang Construction has secured the right of first negotiation for the Namyangju Wangsu S-9BL project, the only competitive public-private partnership (PPP) housing construction project among the public-private partnership projects of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).

According to LH on the 25th, in the evaluation results of the 10th PPP project, which has an estimated project cost of 3.963 billion KRW, the Namgwang Construction consortium was selected as the preferred negotiation partner.

The Namgwang Construction consortium, with a 51% stake, partnered with Shindong-A Construction (20.7%), HJ Industrial (20.7%), C&C General Construction (4.6%), and Daekyung Construction (3%). The design will be handled by Raon Arc Tech Architectural Office and others.

The 10th project is located in the Namyangju Wangsu S-9BL area, and it is the only competitive project out of the 13 public-private partnership projects that have been announced since April.

In this evaluation, the Namgwang Construction consortium scored 966.68 points, winning the bid. The competing GS Construction consortium scored 942.52 points.

Namgwang Construction plans to arrange all the units facing south and secure a wide main axis, with a width of up to 73 meters. They have also introduced a 13,200㎡ Central Festival Park, sky lounges, community facilities linked to plazas, and a 2km long walking trail, enhancing their competitiveness.

On the same day, the evaluation for the Namyangju Wangsu A-27BL project, which has an estimated project cost of 2.4 billion KRW, was also conducted, and the Daebo Construction consortium was selected as the preferred negotiation partner.

Daebo Construction, with a 51% stake, partnered with Dongbu Construction (17%), Hanyang (16%), Shinseong Construction (10%), and V Industry (6%). The design firms involved include Haema General Architectural Office, Dain Group Engineering Architectural Office, and Beomdoshi Architectural Office.

In addition, LH has re-announced the Pyeongtaek Goduk Package-type Project, combining land supply for private residential plots and PPP projects. This project, with a total scale of 2 trillion KRW (design competition 1.701 trillion KRW, PPP project 978.2 billion KRW), will be divided into three project units.

As a result of the business application process on the 19th, the results showed that Umi Construction (P-1), Hanyang (P-2), and Gyeryong Construction Industry (P-3) each submitted individual applications, but the project was left vacant.

LH plans to accept business applications for the re-announced public tender on the 28th. After that, the submission deadline for the business proposals will be on November 25th, and the selection of the preferred negotiation partner is scheduled for December.

Currently, many expect that the results of the re-announcement will not change, and the consortiums that initially bid individually are likely to secure the right of first negotiation.
